quote of the day

Today's quote comes from Chinese philosopher Lau Tzo.  He offers encouraging words to people that are looking to change the bigger picture, but are looking in the wrong direction.

"If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself.  If you want to eliminate the suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself.  Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation."

If you want to chane the world you must start with changing yourself.  Changing yourself will cause others to follow and result in eventually changing the world.

Transform Yourself,

Quote of the Day

Our Quote of the Day is all about fashion.  It comes from Italian actress Sophia Loren.

“A woman's dress should be like a barbed-wire fence: serving its purpose without obstructing the view.”

Sophia is trying to say that fashion should be tasteful, but not reveal too much.  Clothing and accessories are supposed to enhance a persons natural beauty, not distract from it.  Keep Sophia's words in mind the next time that you pick out an outfit.

Stay Stylish,

Quote of the Day

This Friday for our Quote of the Day we will be quoting a movie.  The movie is It's A Wonderful Life, a classic Christmas movie.  The movie is about a businessman with a family that has become hopelessly frustrated.  He is sent an angel, Clarence, to show him how the world would be if he never existed.  At the end of the movie, Clarence says:

"Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he?"

The movie itself is an inspiring story about how different the world would be without each one of us in it.  For this movie, we can pretend it's Christmas in August!  If you are looking for something to watch this weekend keep It's A Wonderful Life in mind!

Quote of the Day

William C. Durant was one of the leading pioneers of the United States automobile industry.  He was the founder of General Motors and Chevrolet, which allowed him to own a multi-brand system with different lines of cars.  Our Quote of the Day from William is:

"Forget past mistakes.  Forget faliures.  Forget everything except what you're going to do now and do it."

This quote basically means that we cannot change the past and we must simply accept that it has bought us to where we are today.  In forgetting the past and what went wrong, you will be opening yourself up to the present, which is what you need to focus on.

Stay focused,

The Ketzali Team

Quote of the Day

Artistotle was an ancient Greek philosopher that studied under Plato.  He is the philosopher who shaped the foundation of Western philosophy about things such as mortality, logic, science, and politics.  He has offered many words of wisdom to cause thought and even acceptance of the thoughts.

"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it."

Aristotle believed in the power of debate.  If people believed everything they heard, than they would be ignorent.  People must become wise enough to share opinions and choose for themselves if they want to accept it or not.
